I like the taste and the consistency when shake blending with almond milk or water. Don't like the price, but the product doesn't give me stomach problems and I appreciate that. Only use about 2 full scoops per day as a workout supplement.By FAR my favorite Protein powder. My last order had a hole in one of my bags. Would love to get that replaced.Honesty this is the best plant based protein. Silky texture, nice flavour and not too sweet, no earthy taste. Give it a try you would be disappointed. These are some brand I have tried (vegan one, granden of life, go good, v-whey… etc)This product has good quality ingredients but the price increases have put in the not a good value range. Will now be ordering from their competitors. This product was recommended to me by a fried at the gym who was lo ok ks for a healthy protein alternative to the typical whey protein. I decided to try it out and it had worked well for me so far. Its a bit pricey for what you get but overall I think it has been a good alternative for me.Has a great taste and is made with quality ingredients. I use it after workouts or throughout the day if I’m busy and not getting enough protein intake from food. It’s easy on the digestive system as well. It has a bit more texture to it than a typical protein supplement but it’s not overwhelming. A word of caution: don’t try to use two scoops with the same amount of liquid you’d use for a single scoop because it will become as thick as a malt. Also, it contains natural fiber so keep that in mind as well. Great product! Why is there a WARNING FOR CA RESIDENTS for Chocolate flavored pea protein? As you may or may not know, anything grown underground will contain heavy metals, including lead. It’s just naturally occurring in dirt. The FDA has limits and guidelines on how much is acceptable and healthy in a food product. California has even stricter rules on the amounts of heavy metals allowed to be sold in California. These California rules are known as Prop 65.We test for heavy metals in our products from the time they’re grown until the finished protein is ready to ship to customers to guarantee the lowest heavy metals possible. They are always well below any FDA rules. However, when it comes to our chocolate, the combination of pea protein and cocoa can put us close to the California Prop 65 guidelines for lead. We follow the Prop 65 guideline, and we put this warning on our product page and place the sticker on chocolate for this reason.Rest assured, our quality is unmatched and heavy metals are as low as possible and well below FDA guidelines.I can't have whey and lactose. My body doesn't like it and digests them horribly. My partner told me about fermented pea powder so I decided to give this one a go. Based on the reviews, those who have more experience in fermented pea powder claim this is the best tasting. There is an odd aftertaste that I noticed literally only on Day 1 of trying it with only a cup of almond milk. The next, day, I didn't notice it and the day after, I tried it with 2 scoops of PB2 chocolate/peanut butter powder and it's just THE BEST THING.The texture is funky though. I use a Ninja blender with the personal cup attachment and I usually pour in the milk and then the powder but I end up with a few odd chunks. So now, I pour in the liquid, then half the powder, shake it up, then the rest of the powders and then blend. It's a process but I like it. I'm sure if I put everything in the usual, much larger blender, I wouldn't have to include the shake step but I'd rather not dirty up the whole thing just for one shake.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making your shake before your workout and letting it thicken in the fridge - SO GOOD if you like that THICC texture :)I love the packaging -- not only does it make me feel better for the lack of plastic but it also has a straight lip on the inside that allows you to scrape the top of the scoop against it for accurate measuring.A review coming from someone who's never tried fermented pea protein, I recommend this product. I'll be checking out the other flavors, too.
