If you’re dying for a facsimile of ice cream flavor and want low low carbs this works. The flavor is not great.I am always on the search for a delicious dairy-free and low sugar ice cream! There are not many on the market that are able to match the consistency of conventional ice cream or gelato, but Nubocha has done it! The consistency and flavor of Nubocha are on point and there is no refined sugar - I can't believe it! I also love that Nubocha uses pure cacao instead of processed chocolate. If you are looking for a new dairy-free ice cream that you can feel good about - Nubocha is the one! I personally like the peanut butter flavor the best, but they are all delicious, give it a try today!I loved the flavors - the chocolate is so rich, the vanilla is creamy, and the peanut butter was a total crowd pleaser! Consistency is smooth and not icy like a lot of vegan frozen products on the market. All four pints were gone from the freezer in a week, so I guess the rest of my family liked them too haha! I will be ordering again soon.We love these gelatos! My children love ice cream and we have been searching for non-dairy options that don’t have an odd taste. The chocolate is delicious with great texture and a very satisfying dark chocolate flavor my son is obsessed with. The vanilla is perfect for on pies for thanksgiving. My daughter’s favorite is the salted caramel with the perfect balance of salty and sweet. We will be ordering again! My daughter is obsessed with frozen treats, and I don't feel great about giving her sugary treats every day. We're also dairy-free so we were happy to discover this brand. The results do not disappoint! They have no idea these are no-/low-sugar, and I don't have to feel guilty. My son loves the peanut butter, and my daughter loves the chocolate. I'm obsessed with the salted caramel, which has a hazelnut undertone and reminds me of my beloved daily nocciola gelato on vacation in Italy. I really hope this brand comes to stores in NYC ASAP!As a newly converted vegan I'm thrilled to add this gelato to my list of favorites. Who knew a vegan gelato could taste as delicious as a "real" gelato? And my husband, definitely a non-vegan, but a health conscious eater, can't get enough of it. I'm thrilled that I now have the best of the old with the best of the new. Try it and you'll be writing a great review too! This arrived fast. It was perfectly packaged, and it was delicious. Since I bought it I've tried other KETO ice cream products. This is my favorite. Best texture for sure, more intense flavors, and reasonable portion sizes. My favorites were the chocolate and the peanut butter. The big draw is the fact that this is both vegan and low carb/sugar free, as well as having a fairly clean list of ingredients. Also, it is shipped very well. The down sides are that it is OK tasting but nothing extraordinary, and that it is expensive. (I paid $12 per pint, even with a coupon for free shipping.) I tried the vanilla, salted caramel, chocolate, peanut butter, and pistachio (available on the company's website). This is neither the best nor the worst light ice cream I have tried. I find other vegan or low-carb ice cream have been much tastier in terms of flavor, creaminess, and mouthfeel, but I have not been able to find something vegan AND low-carb with which to compare this. In general, Nubocha's ice cream tastes more like an ice milk or light ice cream than gelato, in terms of intensity of flavor and density. Also, the gums and allulose may cause digestive distress if you eat a sizeable amount, though I did not have a very strong reaction from eating a moderate-sized serving. The chocolate is the most successful flavor, overall - very intense chocolate flavor, light sorbet-like texture. The peanut butter is pretty good, perhaps the creamiest of the flavors I tried. The salted caramel had an interesting hazelnut undertone. The pistachio flavor was pretty good, with a very vivid color. The vanilla was the least successful flavor, but I realize that it is hard to make a good vegan/low-carb vanilla. It had a cashew aftertaste I did not love, the vanilla flavor wasnot very intense, and I was especially conscious of its lack of creaminess. So if you are expecting something comparable to a full-fat gelato or ice cream, you will likely be disappointed. But you may be satisfied if you curb your expectations, make sure you keep your serving sizes moderate, perhaps add a topping to the vanilla, and remember that you're getting a decent dessert that is vegan, low carb, low calorie, and relatively wholesome. So far, the only way I can do better is by making vegan low carb ice cream from scratch (e.g., veganizing the wonderful peanut butter ice cream recipe in Carrie Brown's Keto Ice Cream Scoop Cookbook), which is tastier and creamier and cheaper, but higher in overall calories and, of course, more time consuming.
