I recently read about the possible health benefits associated with taking Huperzine-A Toothed (Fir) Club Moss and decided to try this brand after comparing most of what Amazon currently has available. I proceeded with caution after reading about the potential negative side effects. It's an AChEI that increases cholinergic activity, particularly in the gastrointestinal system, yet is considered nontoxic to humans, even in high does.I took one pill per day for a week, with or without food, around breakfast, lunch, or dinner time, to see how my body would react to it. Cognition was improving and brain fog was decreasing, yet I didn't feel bad, intoxicated, or drowsy.Also noticed that my dreams were more vivid and rememorable. Some folks actually take this for that reason, seeking after lucid dreams. Even though I did have more control over my dreams along with an increased sense of knowing it's not reality, it was still nightmares as usual for me thanks to major PTSD.I'd recommend this with a warning to proceed with caution. I've been suffering with chronic constipation my entire life and it's tough to find natural solutions that actually work. I'm finding that a rather unconventional approach is the first to show promise. I made the mistake of taking three pills at once one evening for the sake of experimentation and realized that this is stronger than it is seems. Whenever the stuck toxic waste moves i feel especially sick with headaches, bowel pains, brain fog, dehydration, muscle cramps, fever, chills, nausea, and other flu like symptoms. When it passes I feel better until the next round. The night I took 3 pills I woke up with terrible charlie horses in my calves and I've had two productive BM's since then. Normally it's a seldom occurred once a month at best. Hydration is a key to success.I still have plenty of capsules left and will continue to take one per day about twice a week and monitor cognitive function, bowel motility, plus any possible side effects.When my dreams aren't nightmares they're action packed with fast vehicles, guns, explosions, and other forms of controlled chaos. Sometimes I can fly and other times there's massive tidal waves. Things normally don't end well, with death and destruction. Before taking Huperzine-A i had trouble throwing punches and pulling the trigger in the Dreamworld, like being underwater and feeling weighed down. It's easier when i take this and helps me sleep longer because whenever I die in the dream world it wakes me up quickly and makes it difficult to fall back asleep. This product may be useful for those with PTSD. Be mindful if you're taking any other supplements, like I am, because they can cause chemical reactions. Thanks for reading this book of a review.
