I have no idea what if any health benefits malic acid is supposed to have. I do however know I love sour and tart foods/drinks and this is the perfect additive for it.Even though it's unflavored, there is a slight "taste" to malic acid beyond the sour/tart. To me it's slightly sweet, slightly fruity but that may differ based on your taste.A little goes a long way. I like 2 to 3 scoops per 12oz of water but for most people I wouldn't recommend more than 1 scoop. Often by time I've scoop the powder into the drink/food it's already dissolved but if not a quick shake or stir will homogenize it.
