This stuff is awesome. I use it as part of own preworkout, and I get a great pump. I look crazy when I take that and lift. I got sick of spending 30+ dollars every month or so for good preworkout. After researching on on the internet extensively about the ingredients in all these preworkouts... I came up with the following:AAKG 4 gramsCaffeine Anhydrous ~350 mgCitrulline Mallate 2 gBeta Alanine 1 gTweak to your liking. I'm 5'10 170 lbs.You can buy all of these separately in bulk powder. Will save a ton of money in the long run and the mixture works great! just as good or better than any of the good preworkouts I have used... jack3d (the old good stuff), MRI Black Powder, Shock Therapy, Blitzed, Cellucore, etc. They all use some or all of these, plus a bunch of other crap. This makes it simple and easy--you know what your getting and exactly how much your putting into your body. Not a "proprietary blend" that just lists ingredients with no amounts. Mixing all together with water tastes pretty bad, like a very sour bitter l lemony water flavor (i think its the citrulline), but you get used to it and just chase the 4 oz of mixed water with something else, doesn't matter, taste goes away easily (crystal light masks the taste very well). For the money I'm saving I will never ever buy a preworkout again. I can do without the sweet tastes and the cool packaging, its all about gettin the quality stuff for a good workout and save my wallet.A big part of me wants to give this company the benefit of the doubt since I love a couple of their other products. However, I'm not sure this product really added anything to my physique or strength. Therefore, I'm giving it three stars simply because I can comfortably say some of their other products work. For me, the verdict is still out on how much this adds to your workouts. My partner takes AAKG for the ketones to treat his Parkinson's and has been very satisfied with the results for nearly 2 years. Primaforce is the only AAKG powder in a 1:1 ratio of arginine to AKG. He wants the AKG for the ketones; the arginine is just a buffer to make it easier on the stomach at 18 grams per day. So as customers, we have slightly different goals than the bodybuilders.Unfortunately, Primaforce is sloppy with their packaging. In 2013 two different orders arrived with the powder all over the outside of the jar. The cellophane ring around the jar was intact, but the paper seal inside the lid had come loose completely. I complained to the seller, who apparently complained to Primaforce, because the jars started arriving with that paper seal glued down TIGHT.Maybe somebody complained the seal was hard to remove, because I just had 2 different orders in May 2014 arrive with the same problem - paper seal loose, powder all over the inside of the shipping box. This stuff goes bad with exposure to air, so the defective packaging makes it completely ineffective. If you get a container with powder on the outside, send it back.Primaforce needs to get its act together!Despite both the Amazon listing and the item label stating it is unflavored, the item actually has a strong lemon flavor. It's unsafe to use any dietary supplement where even the label is inaccurate.I'm trying this stuff as it supposedly may increase lifespan. I'll get back to you in 80 years. See you then!edit 6/12/14:I was taking two scoops a day, but have since throttled down to one scoop every so often. I noticed this stuff seemed to increase my blood pressure too much being combined with my regular caffeine intake and occasional need for allergy meds. That said, taking it, I can physically feel my muscles swell and get an "amped" feeling for some reason. I also seem to have more vivid dreams when I take two doses a day. I'm still in it more for the longevity research aspect, but may not reorder since the research was done on a non-mammal...Some serious pump here! I take three little scoops mixed into a glass of cold water on an empty stomach, and then chase it down with another glass of cold water because it is rather acidic tasting. Not terrible, but also not something I want lingering in my mouth and throat any longer than necessary to get it down to where it can be absorbed. I noticed some good side benefits, like less brain fog, and better performance in the bedroom, if you know what I mean. This stuff will pump up your blood supply for sure.I have been using this product for over 18 months and think it's okay. I actually don't notice anything different when taking the recommended dosage. It has a strong taste that I got use to by mixing with green tea & ginseng. It was always white powder up until recently, when it changed to a yellowish cream color. There was no indication of a change on the bottle. I was concerned, but couldn't find a phone number for Primaforce on their website. I used their contact us form and after a couple days, a rep named Tami from Scivation, Inc., contacted me via email. She requested the lot# off the bottom, and let me know there can be a difference of color between white and cream. I sent her the requested lot# info and a pic; I never got a response back. I ended up replacing it, and received an identical bottle. Not sure I will continue using this product. I get concerned when a supplement is not consistent. This, out of a dozen NO2 supplements, is the most effective for me. I actually could not keep lifting because my muscle became too engorged with blood, not due to fatigue! Keeps everything full, vascular and circulating.I posted a review awhile ago about how this product upset my stomach and made me sick. Fortunately, it was some medication prescribed that I was allergic too. This product was so effective I was willing to risk becoming very ill again in hopes that it was a bad batch.
