A long time ago I dated a vegan. She always used nutritional flakes and brag liquid aminos on everything. To this day I can't eat popcorn without first sprinkling aminos and pouring the yeast flakes and shake it up really good. Fry chopped garlic and add to it too. I call it psycho popcorn and it's a great substitute meal idea if you are watching your Weight.I am trying to cut down my cheese habit and thought I would try this nutritional yeast. It actually does taste similar to parmesan cheese and is of good nutritional value to boot. I have always been impressed with Bragg products, so I am not the least bit surprised this stuff is awesome. I sprinkle it on my eggs in the morning, on salad, and I really love it on popcorn too. I will continue sprinkling it on other food items as I go along for that cheesy boost. I highly recommend this product!I have used Bragg's products for years because they are so reliable and always good. I had never used this though. It doesn't taste much like parmesan cheese to me but that's fine. It does have a slightly Smoky flavor that I find very pleasant and would be happy if it was slightly more smokey. He only thing I ever Miss as a vegetarian, is bacon! Otherwise the only thing I have to say about this product is I use it on everything! As they say it's a good source of protein and vitamins and I especially like that it is not too salty. Keep up the good work Briggs! This was my first time trying nutritional yeast. I am on a salt restricted diet so I always hunting ways to add flavor without adding sodium. I ordered both the garlic and the plain. The garlic does have higher sodium than the plain however it packs quite a punch of flavor. Both the plain and the garlic give a somewhat cheesy nutty flavor to whatever you add them to. I have enjoyed both on airpopped corn with olive oil and the yeast sprinkled on top. I have added it to creamy soup as well as on top of steamed vegetables. I will be reordering soon! This is my go-to brand for nutritional yeast. I was happy to find this large size for such a great price. I sprinkle it on my eggs in the morning and appreciate the little boost from the B vitamins. I also use it in many dairy- free recipes. We bought this for our dogs and they really like it. We have a senior pup and she’s a picky eater but adding this has sparked her interest in eating easier.I love my Braggs nutritional yeast. It's packed with B vitamins to help give me the energy I need and the non-dairy cheesy flavor that I love. It's a win-win in my opinion. I hope this helps, thank you for your time.Very respectfully,Dug E PhreshI’m going through some dietary changes and needed a replacement for dairy/cheese that had some protein. This was suggested. It’s very tasty, cheese flavor. Bragg is a very good company with excellent products. I’m happy with my purchase. It's fortified with B12, any vit b supplements has it meaning, added b12 is chemically formed called cyanocobalamin. Producers add it to offer complete b vitamin profile. But once in the body it separates into cynaide and cobalamine. I bought it cause it's hard to find b12 source without it added.Cheese like flavour. MRP 799rs,i brought it around 750rs. Now they are selling the product at 1718rs which too high. we didnt find Mrp clearly on the pack.i think its violation of consumer laws. The container was opened, but the lid was taped shut (!). So clearly someone was aware that it was open.Anyways I will eat it as it tastes better than I expected, but 0 points for health and safety concern of the seller.PS. The flavour is something between fish food, cheese and pure MSG. It's almost addictively good.I like its cheesy taste. I use it a lot. I add into to soups, pop corn, chicken, eggs, dips, spreads, cereals, juices and smoothies for added flavor and nutrition. It's a food supplement of great value, a source of complete protein and vitamins, being particularly rich in B vitamins. It contains folates, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, Iron, Selenium, Magnesium and ZincContains NO: Salt or sugar.I use quite a lot of nutritional yeast in various cooking endeavours. This brand is good quality and tastes very good, though is a little more expensive than its more common competitor in the UK (Engevita).
