I was diagnosed with high lipid a few years ago, and the doc prescribed Statin. After six months, My lipid profile was perfect, BUT my kidney and liver enzymes rising!!! I stopped taking Statin and searched for something less dangerous to lower my lipid. Fortunately, I found this. At first, I was not so sure it would work, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Miraculously, after six months, It lowered my lipid profile AND my glaucous (which is precisely what I wanted!) AND my liver enzymes are perfectly normal...! Absolutely suggest polycosanol to my friends looking for something to replace statins! Yet I don't know why doctors don't know about this, but I'm sure pharmaceutical companies are making so much money by selling statins and insulins... (FYI: Don't take these with aspirin and other blood thing drugs, you probably don't need them anymore!)
