Not sure how they assign flavors to these bars other than “they all taste like dates”.Pro -- appears to be healthy alternative to most UPF (ultra processed food) protein bars on the market.- taste like dates and not much else which is a pro if you like datesCon -- odd flavor and consistency. Not a bad flavor but it’s like biting into a date flavored Milk Dud. I would NOT refrigerate these bars if you have had crowns or other dental work done. I sense bad things could happen to the dental work.- dates have a high sugar content. Depending on the variety of date, the sugar content can be as much as 80% of the weight. That’s not terrible - muscles require sugar for the actin/myosin activity but too much sugar is not good. It’s up to the buyer to determine “too much sugar”.- Dates can also be an oxalate concern for some folks with oxalate kidney stones. The data I read said that dates have about 24mg of oxalate which is almost nothing compared to 1 cup of spinach leaves which can be 1000mg + of oxalates but it can be significant if you have oxalate stones - check with your uro doc.I’m still mulling the flavor and “healthiness” of these bars. I’ll “update” if I get another oxalate kidney stone. Hope that helps!I like blueberry, but it's not my favorite so when my husband ordered this to try I was not overly excited. I have to admit the taste is amazing. The taste is not overwhelming, but the smell is really good. I could smell the blueberry as soon as I opened the package. I know really like this flavor after trying just one. These bars are a little expensive but they are all natural and protein bars mostly make up my diet as I am trying to lose weight and cut down on junk food. I hope this helps others looking for good protein bars. I have bought some other bars to try and I have given some reviews on those as well. The other bars are my favorite if you want to check out those :)Taste great, a bit more expensive than what other bars cost but they are made with quality ingredients and ingredients you recognize and can pronounce. Only draw back is that after eating them you will have pieces of the bar stuck to your teeth and since the are brown/black, it doesn't make for a great look. Make sure to have some water or ideally a toothpick or toothbrush around for after you eat one.The bars are a little expensive and the protein is somewhat low, but the bars are delicious.These are great. I have tried a lot of protein bars and some are just nasty. These have a nice flavor and keep me feeling full afterwards. They are a good portion size. I recommend them!Very good taste and quality. I try to stay away from artificial ingredients, added sugars, gums, oils, which create inflammation. This is all natural.High quality ingredients. Great taste. Great source of protein & other nutrients. Minimal ingredient list. No ingredients you cant pronounce etc. 100% natural. Made in USA.There was a time when I did not believe in healthy chocolate bars. I'd use tiny pieces of dark chocolate bars to make cocoa with, but stayed away from large servings of chocolate, when dieting. But then I found these things at a grocery, and was hooked. So I bought a whole 12-pack here.It doesn't taste exactly like chocolate. You can still tell there's date in it, so it's more like a dark chocolate bar with date, raspberry and nuts, and also it's chewy in a way that's kind of like toffee, which doesn't bother me. This was the best of their flavors that I could find.Said flavor doesn't hold, when you heat it, though, so be warned. I thought I might try to make cocoa with it, too, and when I heated it, the egg whites turned into white streaks in the rest of the bar and affected the flavor so that it tasted more like egg and oil and no longer tasted right. So definitely something I'll enjoy unheated, next time. Glad I only tried heating one corner of one.I'm definitely going to buy this again. I've already lost 5 pounds, this week, and the tasty health food is definitely helping that, so it was well worth the price.Ordered this product from Amazon for an event, product arrived & was given out during the day. At the end of the day one of the delegates drew my attention to the fact that the product was actually out of date. Not satisfactory when buying a premium product.Taste dreadful, hard to chew and just nasty!Really quite like these and particularly like the few ingredients in them. Keep you full for a long time and really handy for your handbag when out and about and there are no handy snack options.Love the taste!Love these but they have price themselves too high - price went from $37 to $49
