These are great gluten-free cookies, similar to Fig Newtons. They come in various flavors, too! I really enjoy them as an after-meal treat; just one is sufficient to satisfy my sweet tooth!I bought these cookies for my husband since he’s on a gluten free diet. He had missed Fig Newtons terribly. He tried these figgies and said they’re very close to the flavor and texture of his most favorite cookie. So, I’ll be ordering more in the future.I have bought these dozens of times (food allergies - very limited choices). The price has gone up and up at an insane rate. I am very disappointed. Good product but way too expensive now.Like the taste, used as a snack. These are not fig newtons. Nothing is a fig newton other than fig newtons. Everything else is just a substitute. the question becomes are the GF cookies tasty? satisfying? worth the extra money you pay for being GF. and I say yes. Even my He Who Can Eat Fig newtons likes them.I purchased the Raspberry Figgies and they are delicious! However, you only get 10 cookies per pack. Each cookie is 100 calories (20 from fat). These are gluten free, which is great for those who need to avoid gluten. The cookies are large and tasty, so these make a nice treat or snack -- if you can limit yourself to 1 or 2 cookies (maybe 3) at a time. Let me repeat 100 calories per cookie. :-)They are also a bit expensive, so not a bargain per se. I give these 4 stars (I like them). Very tasty, but a little costly. Still, I might buy again on occasion as they are delicious. I purchase via Subscribe and Save, but still 41 cents per oz. (Each pack is 9 ozs,). Great with coffee or tea!I'm not one to constantly buy the same product. But this one is a staple in our home. Good ratio of filling to cookie. And so much tastier than the Newtons I grew up on. And gluten free if thats a concern. But unlike some GF items it does not seem something is amiss. Nothing lacking in texture.Best flavor and texture many fig bar, ever
