Better then Metamucil for sure. And created initially to help kids on the ASD spectrum. Master Supplements has a whole Line created for ASD GI tracks ( Most of which I can’t try due to sensitivities etc) . Not at all better then my prescription Linzess. Not as useful to me as my probiotic- but, likely safer then Miralax’s unflavored powder. This is processed a little so my body doesn’t seam to process it well. I’m incredibly mindful, an Aspie adult and have some functional medicine background in detox, digestion, and lifestyle. It doesn’t give me any significant obvious negative side effects. Except make me pee because of the expected added water at Luke warm temp I have it with. However, I notice on it. If anything, I’m more constipated not less. One of the ingredients is Cassava which It confirmed. Especially in a processed form. Doesn’t help me. And certainly could be something I’m intolerant NOT sensitive towards. This is supposed to be similar too ( But better then) Miralax. It’s supposed to be better cause it’s ideal to take with the right probiotic. To enhance it’s absorption etc. A powder you stir in spring/ filtered water till dissolved. And is safer then Miralax so taking it daily or even twice a day continuously is fine. Unlike Miralax. Miralax clearly works for me on the occasions I need it too. It may give me some discomfort to work. While this doesn’t. But, with a high quality probiotic I absorb. I don’t need this. Trying the entire bottle of this which took nearly two months ( today’s my last serving of it) I should know. And you shouldn’t need this either.This fiber is a great source of fiber that the manufacturer claims, and my doctor is quite convinced, works really well with the Master Supplement Probiotic strands. The manufacturer has done a bunch of scientific tests to prove its effectiveness over other pre-biotics and probiotics.It really is tasteless. Absolutely no taste or consistently, even in straight water!I wish it came in a pill to make it easier to take on the go.Packaged perfectly -- was easy to locate and identify because my mom asked me if Amazon sold it? She's starting to appreciate the ease of shopping via Amazon Prime, as I have for YEARS now.My favorite 'search' is using the photo look up feature. If only it recognized screen shots ? but I digress!!The product appears to be an identical match and I'm happy about that!The glass or cup you’re using must be completely dry then add the product then add cold water and stir...if you add the product and the cup is wet it will clump then when you add the water it won’t mix...tried it this morning hope this helps!This is a wonderful product that benefits your body, that is tasteless and odorless as they advertise. HOWEVER, it does not dissolve completely as advertised. I put mine in a blender as part of my morning shake and I've never tasted grit but if I just take a teaspoon and stir it in a glass or water, it's near impossible for it not to have grit floating around. Tough to dissolve without a blender.My doctor recommended I use this brand because I have ulcerative colitis, and while it acts like a fiber, it also encourages the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. That bacteria for folks with intestinal disorders or who have been on antibiotics a long time can get stripped away, and its sometimes hard to get it growing again.
